Behavior Analysts BCBA
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- Master’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, behavior science, human development, social work, or rehabilitation
- BCBA certification
- 2-3 years experience working as a behavior instructor implementing ABA interventions with children with ASD
- 2-3 years experience working as a behavior supervisor designing ABA programs for children with ASD, as well as training caregivers and instructors on how to implement these interventions
- Able to learn different software systems to collect data and to make reports
- Experience conducting assessments
- Preferably fluent in English and Spanish
Behavior Analyst Duties
What would you do?
- Design and oversee Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs
- Train behavior instructors, parents, and other professionals to implement ABA treatment plans
- Act as a liaison between technicians, family, and other service providers.
- Conduct face-to-face supervision for assigned patients
- Monitor weekly progress and present updates of the child’s program(s) and behavior program(s) during supervision and team meetings.
- Update and maintain programs
- Create reports, progress reports, set IEP goals (if required), and create assessments; all with the assistance of the Clinical Director (PTO Excluded from covering this responsibility)
- Attend child’s IEPs/Placement meetings
- Provide Direct Care, as needed and/or recommended in treatment plans
- Update administrative and performance tracking documents, as required by directors
- Perform other job duties, as assigned
Registered Behavior Technicians RBTs
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- A high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s Degree, or near completion of a bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving
- The provider is responsible for all training requirements
- Proof of annual or required updated training shall be maintained on file for review
Requirements
- Proven ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Experience with applied settings with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disability
- Clear level-two background check
- Verifiable work references
Registered Behavior Technician Duties
What would you do?
- Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the clients’ behaviors
- Teaching skills that allow the individual to communicate and/or function more effectively
- Review behavior plans and other relevant (e.g., instructional) materials developed by behavior analysts for clients to facilitate consistent implementation and monitor outcomes appropriately.
- The implementation of behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors
- Data collection and display as authorized by a recipient’s behavior analysis service plan
- Communicate openly with behavior analysts and regional coordinator
- Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan
